What to do when two best friends have the birthday at same day, we go out and celebrate by eating Thai food 🙂 and this time we chose Absolute Thai after reading all reviews. Booked table through zomato and used zomato gold 🙂
Soup – Tom Kha – has good flavours with lot of vegetables and it was the best of most of the Thai places I had in Chennai.
Starters – money bag, crispy corn, tofu tempura and spring roll. All were equally good and the tempura was the best. The crispy corn and spring roll was perfect with texture and taste. Money bag alone we felt it was little oily but tasted good. And the portions were neither small nor huge and was enough for 4 people.
Main course – Ordered one basil fried rice and Thai green curry with white rice. Basil fried rice was little spicy but tasted good. Thai curry no complaints over there. And the portions were enough for again 4 people
Desserts – banana fritters, water chestnut and one rice ball in milk. Fritters was good, water chestnut and rice ball one was huge. And tasted good too.
Overall a good experience with whatever we ordered. We couldn’t order non veg since it was lord Krishna’s bday too 🙂 will def visit to taste their non veg menu too. Price was around 2.7k for 4 people including zomato gold discount which was pretty decent.
