This is one of the pet friendly restaurants you’ll find in Chennai. Having a pet and not taking them along with you for restaurants is sometimes heartbreaking and places like this are a heaven for pet owners. So me and husband along with our dog went to have dinner at The Bark. We booked table for 8pm but got late and called up the restaurant to hold their pets so that my dog can play with them and he was kind enough to extend the dog play time till 9pm. And even when they wanted to close they checked with us if it was ok to close. So 100 marks for the service. Also the owner was polite enough to come and talk to us regarding pets and gave lot of tips on how they care for the dogs.
Coming to the food, we ordered one chicken clear soup, one chicken tupelo tenders, chicken burrito bowl and one carribean shake. Soup was good in terms of flavour, had what needs to be having in clear chicken broth. Tupelo tenders are more like chicken strips cut into small pieces. Right texture and taste. Accompanied by two sauces one bbq and the other tasted more like french vinaigrette which was amazing. And the waitress was glad to get us some mayo too. Chicken buritto was good too with all the right ingredients. One starter and main could be easily shared by two since the portions was pretty huge. The carribean shake blew me away with the chocolate and coconut mix shake. Do try this for sure.
We were seated in the pet area so couldn’t get to check the other normal restaurant. So no comments on that. The dining area near the pets was well maintained and they do have water bowls for pets inside each table and could be looked if you don’t want your pet to go out or if your pet is scared ( like mine). And they do take orders for the pets too.
Pricing was decent enough. Since we had zomato gold it came around 700 for two people which was affordable. Will def keep visiting again and again.
